Umbilical Cord Blood – Plasma
Umbilical Cord Blood Plasma (CB-Plasma) is isolated from whole umbilical cord blood by centrifugation. As a result, there is a reduced platelet count in the harvested plasma. Cryopreserved plasma is snap frozen in a -20°C freezer then moved to a -80°C freezer for long term storage.
